CHEFS COLLECTION FOOD
SHIPPING, DELIVERY & PICKUP POLICY
Last Updated: August 4, 2026
Introduction
This Shipping, Delivery & Pickup Policy applies to fulfillment of eligible orders placed with Chefs Collection Food & Supply, doing business as (DBA) Chefs Collection Food (βChefs Collection,β βwe,β βus,β or βourβ).
Our current food-order fulfillment is primarily through Local Delivery and Local Pickup. We may also use approved third-party delivery or fulfillment providers. As our business expands, we may offer carrier shipping or other fulfillment methods for eligible non-food merchandise and, where specifically implemented, eligible refrigerated, frozen, or other food products.
Available fulfillment methods depend on the product, location, service area, operational capacity, schedule, and options displayed at checkout.
1. Available Fulfillment Methods
Depending on the applicable product and order, we may offer Local Delivery, Local Pickup, third-party delivery or fulfillment, future carrier shipping for eligible non-food merchandise, and other specifically disclosed fulfillment methods.
Not every fulfillment method is available for every product or location. The fulfillment options displayed for your order through our website, product page, cart, checkout, scheduling tool, or other applicable ordering interface determine the available methods for that transaction.
2. Service Areas, Dates, Time Windows, Minimums, Fees, and Cutoffs
Delivery and pickup conditions may vary based on delivery area, pickup location, product, order value, delivery or pickup date, available time window, production schedule, preparation lead time, order cutoff, operational capacity, and other product-specific requirements.
Applicable charges or requirements may include minimum-order requirements, base delivery fees, delivery surcharges, free-delivery thresholds, product-specific fulfillment charges, and other disclosed fulfillment conditions.
Because these conditions may change, the terms displayed or communicated through the website, product page, cart, checkout, scheduling tool, or order confirmation for the applicable order control.
A delivery promotion or free-delivery threshold does not necessarily eliminate every separately disclosed surcharge or other applicable charge unless expressly stated.
3. Order Preparation and Processing
Food and made-to-order products may require preparation, production, packaging, or scheduling before they are ready for delivery or pickup.
Applicable preparation lead times, order cutoffs, available dates, and pickup or delivery windows are displayed or communicated through the applicable product page, cart, checkout, scheduling tool, or order confirmation.
Placing an order does not guarantee an earlier fulfillment time than the option selected or confirmed for that order.
4. Customer Contact, Address, and Access Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information reasonably necessary to fulfill the order, including where applicable the customer name, telephone number, delivery address, unit or apartment number, pickup information, gate or access code, building instructions, parking or entry instructions, and other relevant delivery or pickup information.
Please review this information carefully before submitting your order.
Delays, failed delivery, additional delivery attempts, or other consequences caused by materially inaccurate or incomplete customer information may be the customerβs responsibility to the extent disclosed and permitted by law.
5. Failed or Incomplete Delivery
If delivery cannot reasonably or safely be completed because the customer is unavailable; the address is incorrect or incomplete; the telephone or contact information is incorrect; necessary gate, building, unit, or access information is missing; the delivery location cannot reasonably be accessed; or another customer-controlled condition prevents delivery, we may, depending on product condition, food-safety considerations, customer instructions, and operational feasibility:
β’ leave the order at a location authorized by the customer or otherwise permitted under the disclosed delivery arrangement;
β’ return the order;
β’ arrange for pickup;
β’ offer redelivery; or
β’ provide another reasonable resolution.
If an additional redelivery charge applies, it will be disclosed before redelivery is scheduled where required.
Because food products may be perishable or temperature-sensitive, a failed delivery caused by customer unavailability or inaccurate information does not automatically make the order eligible for a refund. Our food Final Sale rules and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy continue to apply.
6. Delivery Dates and Time Windows
Delivery dates and time windows are estimates unless we expressly state that a particular delivery time is guaranteed.
Delivery timing may be affected by traffic, weather, order volume, production or preparation timing, access conditions, vehicle issues, third-party delivery-provider operations, emergencies, power or utility interruptions, and other circumstances reasonably affecting fulfillment.
We will make reasonable efforts to fulfill orders within the applicable delivery arrangement.
A reasonable delay does not automatically make an order eligible for cancellation, refund, replacement, or Store Credit. However, if we ultimately cannot fulfill the order, or if the delay materially prevents us from providing the order as agreed for reasons attributable to us, the merchant-caused cancellation and refund provisions of our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply where appropriate.
If a delay materially affects food safety or our ability to provide the order substantially as agreed, we will evaluate the circumstances and provide an appropriate resolution under our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
7. Unattended Delivery
Where unattended delivery is requested by the customer, authorized through delivery instructions, or otherwise permitted under the disclosed delivery arrangement, the order may be considered delivered when it is left at the designated or authorized location.
After delivery, responsibility for timely retrieval, security, refrigeration, freezing, storage, and proper handling of the order transfers to the customer to the extent permitted by law.
Customers ordering temperature-sensitive food should arrange to retrieve the order promptly.
We are not responsible for deterioration, spoilage, theft, loss, contamination, temperature abuse, or other damage occurring after a properly completed unattended delivery to the extent caused by delayed retrieval, improper storage, or other circumstances occurring after delivery and outside our control.
Nothing in this section limits responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
8. Local Pickup
Where Local Pickup is offered, customers must pick up the order at the applicable pickup location within the scheduled or otherwise communicated pickup window.
We may require reasonable verification before releasing an order, including customer name, order number, pickup confirmation, identification, or other information reasonably necessary to verify the pickup.
Customers should not arrive before receiving any applicable pickup-ready communication unless otherwise instructed.
Late or missed pickup may affect food quality, temperature, availability, and refund eligibility. Because food products are generally Final Sale, failure to pick up an order during the applicable pickup window does not automatically make the order eligible for refund.
If you expect to miss your pickup window, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may attempt to accommodate a change where operationally feasible, but a changed pickup time is not guaranteed.
9. Temperature-Sensitive Products
Certain products may require refrigeration, freezing, or other temperature-controlled handling.
Customers should promptly refrigerate or freeze temperature-sensitive food after delivery or pickup and follow any storage, preparation, thawing, reheating, or food-safety instructions provided with the product.
Partial softening or thawing during local transport does not automatically mean that a refrigerated or frozen product is defective if the product remains properly cold and safe.
If you believe a temperature-sensitive product was delivered or provided in an unsafe or materially defective condition, follow the 24-hour order-issue claim procedure stated in our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy. Photos or other reasonable documentation may be requested.
Additional requirements are stated in our Food Safety & Allergen Notice.
10. Third-Party Delivery and Fulfillment Providers
We may use approved third-party delivery, courier, logistics, or fulfillment providers. Their tracking systems, delivery procedures, communications, operational practices, and estimated delivery windows may differ from ours.
For orders placed through this Shopify Store, customers should contact Chefs Collection Food regarding an order or delivery issue. We may then coordinate with the applicable third-party provider as appropriate.
For sales completed through this Shopify Store, Chefs Collection Food & Supply remains the seller and merchant of record. Third-party providers remain responsible for matters legally attributable to their own services, and Chefs Collection Food remains responsible to customers to the extent required by applicable law and the terms applicable to the transaction.
11. Product-Specific Fulfillment Rules
Certain products or orders may have separate fulfillment requirements, including preorders, seasonal or holiday products, limited-production items, partner-chef products, custom orders, catering-related products, oversized merchandise, equipment, rental items, and other special products.
These products may have different preparation lead times, order cutoffs, delivery dates, pickup windows, delivery methods, pickup requirements, geographic restrictions, or other fulfillment conditions.
Product-specific terms disclosed on the product page, offer, order form, cart, checkout, scheduling tool, or other applicable pre-purchase disclosure apply to that product.
Where a specifically disclosed fulfillment rule conflicts with a general provision of this Policy, the specific rule controls for that product to the extent permitted by law.
12. Future Carrier Shipping for Non-Food Merchandise
Chefs Collection Food may in the future offer carrier shipping for eligible non-food merchandise, including cookware, kitchen tools, dining or entertaining products, outdoor or camping equipment, appliances, accessories, or other merchandise.
This Section does not mean that carrier shipping is currently available for all or any non-food merchandise. Availability will be shown at checkout when implemented.
When carrier shipping becomes available for an eligible product, applicable shipping information may include carrier, shipping rate, estimated delivery time, tracking method, geographic restrictions, signature requirements, insurance, lost-package procedures, damaged-package procedures, and return-shipping rules.
These terms may be disclosed at checkout, on the applicable product page, or through supplemental shipping terms.
Risk of loss and title will be allocated as required by applicable law and any valid terms specifically disclosed for the transaction.
Nothing in this Policy waives a non-waivable consumer right or remedy.
13. Future Shipping of Refrigerated, Frozen, or Other Perishable Food
Our current Local Delivery rules should not be interpreted as automatically authorizing or governing nationwide or carrier-based shipping of refrigerated, frozen, or other perishable food.
Carrier-based shipping of perishable food is not currently offered unless expressly shown as an available fulfillment option for the applicable product and destination.
Before we offer a materially different carrier-based perishable-food shipping program, we may establish additional terms concerning eligible geographic areas, temperature-control methods, packaging, shipping days, carrier delays, delivery attempts, package retrieval, weather restrictions, transit-time limitations, damaged or delayed shipments, food-safety requirements, and claim procedures.
Any such additional terms will be disclosed as appropriate before or when that fulfillment method becomes available.
14. Order Changes Affecting Fulfillment
Requests to change a delivery date, pickup date or time, delivery address, delivery instructions, pickup location, delivery or pickup method, or another fulfillment detail are not guaranteed.
We may decline a requested change if production, preparation, inventory allocation, packaging, routing, scheduling, or fulfillment has already begun or if the requested change is not operationally feasible.
A request to change fulfillment information does not extend any cancellation-request period stated in our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
15. Relationship to Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
This Policy governs shipping, delivery, pickup, and fulfillment.
Eligibility for cancellation, refund, replacement, Store Credit, return, quality claims, or other order resolutions is governed primarily by our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy, together with applicable product-specific terms and mandatory law.
A delivery delay, missed pickup, failed customer-controlled delivery, or other fulfillment issue does not automatically create a refund right unless the applicable policy or law provides otherwise.
16. Applicable Law
This Policy operates subject to applicable federal, state, and local law.
Nothing in this Policy waives, restricts, or eliminates any consumer right, remedy, warranty, or protection that cannot legally be waived.
